Lima is a place ( Tatort ) in the southern Swedish province of Dalarna County and the historical province of Dalarna .

The place is on Västerdalälven about 35 kilometers northwest of Malung , the central town of the municipality. In 2010 the place had 398 inhabitants and was considered a crime scene, but then lost this status due to the excessive distance in the residential buildings according to the crime scene definition. The somewhat separate northern parts of the former crime scene on both sides of the river (Husom / Torgås, Sörnäs) have since been run as two independent Småorters. Since the end of 2018 Lima has more than 200 inhabitants (exactly 212).

Riksväg 66 runs through the village. Länsväg W 1046 runs on the opposite side of Västerdalälven. Lima had a train station on the disused and dismantled Limedsforsen – Särna Järnväg railway , a continuation of Västerdalsbanan .

Lima has a school and a polyclinic . Until 2006 it was the seat of the parish Lima församling (formerly socken ), which then merged into today's Lima-Transtrands församling with its seat in Transtrand, which is just under 20 kilometers to the north .
