Vallerås is a place ( Småort ) in the Swedish province of Dalarnas län and the historic province of Dalarna .

The place is on Västerdalälven about five kilometers northwest of Malung , the central town of the municipality. Riksväg 66 runs through the village. Vallerås had a train station on Västerdalsbanan , but this is unused.

The population of Vallerås is falling sharply. While 143 inhabitants were counted in 1995, when the Swedish statistics bureau was last published in 2015, it was only 70 people.
