The Erlach is a creek over two and a half kilometers long in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen , which flows into the "Eastern" Rohrach from the left in the Treuchtlingen district of Wettelsheim .

course

The Erlach arises on a forest corridor on the north side of the Hahnenkamm ridge next to the district road WUG 5, about 400 m southwest of Falbenthal . She first runs to the left of the road towards Falbenthal, soon emerges from the forest and changes to the right side of the road. On the outskirts it then bends to the east and runs in a rather wide valley trough through the corridor to Wettelsheim, finally again as a ditch next to a dirt road. There it flows through an approximately 0.2 hectare pond in the south-western settlement area into the Rohrach coming from the south, which then continues in an easterly direction through the village.
