Erman Özgür (born April 13, 1977 in Kartal , Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player .
Career
society
Youth team and Kartalspor
Erman Özgür was born in the Istanbul district of Kartal and started playing club football in the youth of the Kartalspor district team, which is known for its youth work . In 1996 he received a professional contract, he played one season exclusively for the reserve team. In the summer of 1997 he was taken over directly to the professional team and played here continuously for one and a half seasons.
Çanakkale Dardanelspor
In the spring of 1998 he moved to the then first division club Çanakkale Dardanelspor . At the end of the 1999/00 season, his club failed to stay relegated and had to release Erman Özgür under contract.
Trabzonspor
Özgür then moved to traditional Turkish club Trabzonspor on a free transfer . Here he played four seasons and won the Turkish Football Cup in 2003 .
Akçaabat Sebatspor
For the season he left Trabzonspor and moved within the province of Trabzon to the other Süper Lig representative Akçaabat Sebatspor .
Ankaraspor, Konyaspor and Gaziantepspor
In spring 2005 he moved to the capital for first division club Ankaraspor . He later played for Konyaspor and Gaziantepspor .
Mersin İdman Yurdu
During the winter break of the 2011/12 season he came to an agreement with the then Turkish second division club Mersin İdman Yurdu and switched to the TFF 1. Lig . He was brought here at the request of the coach Nurullah Sağlam , with whom Özgür already worked at Konyaspor. At Mersin İY he won a regular place in the professional team straight away. He finished the 2010/11 season with his team as champions of the 1st Lig and thus achieved direct promotion to the Süper Lig .
Adana Demirspor
After his contract with Mersin İdman Yurdu, which expired in the summer of 2012, was not extended, Özgür moved to the second division side Adana Demirspor .
National team
Özgür played five times for the Turkish U-21 national youth team . In 2003 he also played once for the second selection of the Turkish national team .
