Erminio De Scalzi (born September 6, 1940 in Saronno , Varese Province , Italy ) is an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop emeritus in Milan .

Life

Erminio De Scalzi received on 27 June 1964, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On 11 May 1999 it appointed Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Arbanum and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Milan. The Archbishop of Milan, Carlo Maria Cardinal Martini SJ , donated him episcopal ordination on June 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Verona , Attilio Nicora , and the auxiliary bishop in Milan, Giovanni Giudici .

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on April 30, 2020.
