Ernesto Amantegui Phumipha ( Thai เอ ร์ เน ส โต อ มัน เต กี ภูมิ ภา , born April 16, 1990 in Oviedo ) is a Thai-Spanish soccer player .

Ernesto Amantegui Phumipha is the son of a Thai woman and a Spaniard.

Career

Ernesto Amantegui Phumipha learned to play football in the youth team of Real Oviedo from Oviedo in Spain . Here he signed his first contract in 2009. From 2009 to 2011 he played at Oviedo for the B team and the first team. The B-team played in the fourth division, the Tercera División , the first team in the third division, the Segunda División B . After 54 games in the fourth division and 12 games in the third division, he moved in August 2011 to the league rivals CD Mirandés in Miranda de Ebro . By 2012 he played 15 times for the club and scored seven goals. In mid-2012 he went to Gijón , where he joined Sporting Gijón . Here he was used 24 times in the B team, which played in the Segunda División B. In 2013 he moved to Asia . Here he signed a contract with Buriram United in Thailand . The club played in the country's first division, the Thai Premier League . However, it was not used here. He went to league rivals Army United from Bangkok in 2014, where he signed a two-year contract. After the end of the contract period, he switched to Bangkok United , also based in Bangkok, in 2016 , where he signed a 3-year contract. The return series in 2018 he was loaned to the first division club Air Force Central . With the club he was bottom of the Thai League . After the contract was not extended, he moved to the first division Port FC in early 2019 . At the Bangkok club he played until June 2019. In July 2019, the first division club Muangthong United signed him. After six months, he left Muangthong and joined league rivals Samut Prakan City FC from Samut Prakan .
