Ernie Adams (musician)
Ernie Adams (* around 1950) is an American jazz musician ( drums , percussion ).
Live and act
Adams, who is from Milwaukee , studied at the University of North Texas and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and worked in the jazz scene of the Midwest from the early 1970s; first recordings were made in 1971 with Pucho and His Latin Soul Brothers. From the 1980s he played a. a. with Sonya Robinson , Jodie Christian , Al DiMeola , Orbert Davis , Ramsey Lewis / Nancy Wilson , Harrison Bankhead , TS Galloway and the Chicago Jazz Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble under the direction of Orbert Davis. also with Clark Terry , Joe Williams , Stanley Turrentine , Benny Golson and Phil Woods . In the field of jazz, he was involved in 31 recording sessions between 1971 and 2017. He also worked with pop, rock and hip-hop musicians.
