Egon Pralle

Ernst-Egon Pralle (born May 7, 1900 in Schöneberg near Berlin ; † November 6, 1987 in Einbeck ) was a German politician ( BHE ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1919 at the humanistic Wilhelmsgymnasium in Munich , Egon Pralle worked for a year and a half as a miner in coal and ore mining in Silesia . He then attended the Technical University of Wroclaw and the Technical University of Berlin from 1920 to 1924 and obtained a diploma as a mining engineer . In addition, he completed an apprenticeship in the commercial field and then went into the civil service as a mountain trainee . He obtained a doctorate in engineering from the Technical University in Wroclaw.

He expanded an inherited lime works in the Silesian district of Bunzlau into an important lime and cement manufacturer. He attached importance to the social security of his workers and employees. He converted an agricultural business into a breeding business and seed producer. He traveled abroad, including North America , Russia and countries in the Balkans , and he conducted economic and sociological studies.

Before 1933 Pralle was a member of the SPD . From 1927 to 1933 he was a member of the Masonic Lodge for the "Golden Chain" in Bunzlau. On May 1, 1933, he joined the NSDAP ( membership number 2.245.413); he was expelled from the party retrospectively as of that date for tax evasion. In 1933 he became a member of the Sturmabteilung , in which he was promoted to storm leader and in 1937 was expelled for tax evasion. In September 1936 he became a supporting member of the SS (membership number 1,109,537); In 1938 he was expelled from the SS for tax evasion. In December 1933 he was with the DAF . Until 1937 he was a district economic advisor. He was also chairman of the church council.

The Braunschweig Denazification Committee classified him on March 29, 1951 in Category V as exonerated. From 1947 to 1950, the expellee worked as an independent haulage company. He was also a sales representative in Einbeck.

Egon Pralle was a co-founder of the Association of Expellees and Disenfranchised (BHE) in Bad Gandersheim and became 2nd district chairman there. From May 5, 1952 to May 5, 1955 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (2nd electoral period). In 1967 he became a member of the Corps Silesia Breslau .
