Ernst Andrée

Ernst Andrée (born May 8, 1883 in Recklinghausen , † March 17, 1969 in Hanover ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Andrée attended elementary school and later did private training. From 1901 to 1906 he worked as a technician. He joined the SPD and was from 1911 to 1922 editor of the “ Volkswille ” in Hanover. From 1919 to May 1924 he was a member of the mayor council in Hanover and from January 1921 its holder of the word . In February 1923 he was elected to the regional council of the provincial administration of the province of Hanover . From 1920 to 1925 he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Hanover . This elected him from May 1921 to April 1933 to the Prussian State Council . There he was chairman of the economic committee from 1923 to 1929. After the seizure of powerhe was dismissed by the National Socialists and was unemployed for a long time. From January 1938 to May 1943 he was a representative of Gothaer Versicherung and then a war aid worker at the Hanoverian Agricultural Employer's Liability Insurance Association. After the Second World War , he was reinstated as a state councilor on June 1, 1945 by the occupying power. He then became Ministerialrat in the Ministry of Labor, Development and Welfare of Lower Saxony. From 1946 to 1947 he was chairman of the refugee council in the zone council .
