Ernst docks

Ernst Martin Docken (born May 20, 1915 in Baschütz ; † June 17, 1970 in Bautzen ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1950 to 1958 he was a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR .

Life

Docks, of Sorbian nationality, completed an apprenticeship as an iron turner after attending school and became a master mechanic.

After 1945 he joined the CDU and later became district chairman of the CDU in Bautzen . From 1950 to 1958, as a member of the CDU parliamentary group, he was a member of the People's Chamber. From 1952 he was deputy chairman of the Bautzen district council and member of the district council. He was a member of the CDU district board in Dresden and the national board of Domowina . He was a member of the main CDU board from 1954 (8th party congress) to 1958 (9th party congress).
