Ernst Dahlke

Ernst Reinhold Hugo Dahlke (born March 19, 1877 in Grünewald , Neustettin district ; † 1960 ) was a German music teacher.

Life

Ernst Dahlke's father Reinhold Dahlke was a teacher.

He himself attended the teacher training college in Köslin , passed the first and second primary school teacher exams in September 1897 and in January 1900 . Since 1898 he was in the public school service. In mid-1906 he passed the gymnastics teacher examination at the University of Greifswald and in 1908 the vocal teacher examination in Leipzig . In 1912 he passed the academic singing teacher examination in Berlin.

Dahlke worked as a music teacher at a secondary school in Dortmund and was editor of the bi-monthly publication for school music care , which was published by Baedeker in Essen from 1920 to 1930 . He also published school song books and worked as a composer.

His son was the actor Paul Dahlke .
