Ernst Hagen , actually Ernst Hackensöllner (born February 7, 1906 in Prague , † March 1, 1984 in Vienna ) was an Austrian author and actor .

Life

Hagen came to Vienna as a child. He was initially engaged as an actor on German-speaking stages. In 1931 he founded the cabaret “ABC” with Johann Sklenka in Vienna, but also wrote texts for “ Literatur am Naschmarkt ”. After the war, Hagen mainly worked as a cultural journalist and headed the relevant department in the world press and in the Bild-Telegraf ; He wrote novels, worked for Vienna Advertising, designed radio programs ("Vienna is always in season", "Life begins at 60") and, together with Michael Danzinger, invented the television program Seniorenclub (over 500 episodes) for ORF also presented himself for many years.
