Johann Sklenka

Johann Sklenka (born March 5, 1911 in Saalfelden ; † August 5, 1983 in the Hochegg lung sanatorium , market town of Grimmenstein ) was an Austrian composer , cabaret artist , actor and director.

Life

Johann Sklenka studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and at the Vienna Music Academy and took acting lessons. He played in various theaters - mostly cabaret stages - at home and abroad and worked as a director and composer for ORF from 1956 .

Johann Sklenka died of a pulmonary infarction . It rests in the Helenenfriedhof in Baden near Vienna (group 8, row 2, number 16).
