Ernst Haller

Ernst Haller (born June 16, 1910 in Wettingen ; † November 7, 1986 in Brugg ; resident in Reinach and from 1976 in Windisch ) was a Swiss politician ( SP ).

The son of a locomotive driver attended the Wettingen teacher training college from 1926 to 1930 . After deputies in Oberbözberg and Herznach , he worked from 1931 to 1973 as a primary and high school teacher (secondary school) in Windisch.

Ernst Haller was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Aargau from 1941 to 1971 , which he also chaired in the 1958/59 office year. From 1973 he was also on the Aargau Constitutional Council , 1974/75 as its President. From 1959 to 1979 Haller was also a member of the National Council.

Haller was granted honorary citizenship in 1976 for his many years of activity as a teacher in the municipality of Windisch .
