This soon became the focus of the company and led to the worldwide recognition of the company. Ernst Rudolf Anders was, among other things, a member of the German Tea Association and a member of the supervisory board of Teapot Comp. Ltd. Warsaw .

When the zeppelin was destroyed on May 6 when landing in Lakehurst by an ignition of the hydrogen filling, it was one of the 35 fatalities of the 97 people on board. Thanks to his father's decision, his son Rolf Anders arrived safely in the USA. He took over his father's share in the teapot company in Dresden.
