Ernst Süffert

Ernst Süffert (born August 17, 1863 in Schlitz (Vogelsbergkreis) , † February 2, 1933 in Darmstadt ) was a German administrative lawyer , president of the Chamber of Accounts and the Hessian Administrative Court.

Life

From the summer semester of 1882, Süffert studied law in Gießen , where he was a member of the Corps Teutonia . In 1899 he became a councilor in Friedberg (Hesse) , in 1900 district councilor in Alzey , in 1905 a ministerial councilor in Darmstadt, in 1910 a privy councilor and in 1914 a councilor of state. From 1918 he served as President of the Chamber of Accounts and from 1924 at the same time as President of the Hessian Administrative Court. In 1928 he retired.
