Friedrich Martin von Bechtold

Friedrich Martin Andreas Hermann von Bechtold (born March 1, 1866 in Darmstadt , † November 28, 1924 in Alzey ) was a Hessian civil servant and district director in Offenbach .

Life

Bechtold was a son of the Ministerialrat and provincial director Hermann von Bechtold (1836–1902) and his wife Christiane Wilhelmine nee Emmerling (1839–1898). Von Bechtold, who was a Protestant denomination, married Elisabeth Anna Laura, born on November 24, 1902 in Friedberg (born January 14, 1877 in Frankfurt am Main).

From 1885 he studied law at the universities of Gießen , where he was a member of the Corps Teutonia , and Heidelberg. He did military service and retired as captain of the Landwehr Infantry. D. off. In 1906 he became district councilor in Lauterbach (Hesse) , in 1913 in Alzey , most recently with the title of government councilor. On September 15, 1923, he was appointed district director in Offenbach. He held this position until his death.

Friedrich von Bechtold was the Grand Ducal Chamberlain in Hesse .
