Wilhelm Köhler (born April 18, 1858 in Darmstadt ; † July 24, 1945 in Darmstadt-Mathildenhöhe ) was an administrative lawyer and undersecretary of state in Alsace-Lorraine .

Wilhelm Köhler was the son of the district court director Wilhelm Ludwig Heinrich Anton Köhler (born May 25, 1821 in Altenstadt; † May 30, 1908 in Darmstadt) and his wife Bertha nee Maul (born April 28, 1833 in Michelstadt; † 1910). Wilhelm Köhler, who was a Protestant denomination, married Anna, née Kecker, in 1889 (* 1869 in Metz).

He attended high school and studied law in Leipzig and Giessen.

From 1884 he was active in the service of the realm of Alsace-Lorraine . First as a government assessor in the Château-Salins district and from 1885 to 1891 in Metz . From 1892 he worked in the Ministry of Finance in Strasbourg. From 1892 to 1902 he was a councilor and from 1902 to 1808 a ministerial advisor. From 1908 to 1918 he worked as Undersecretary for Finance in the Ministry for Alsace-Lorraine . In terms of content, this corresponds to a finance minister from one of the other German states.
