Eduard Wallau

Eduard Wallau (born November 25, 1855 in Mainz , † April 28, 1941 in Rüsselsheim ) was district administrator and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Wallau attended high school in Mainz and the universities of Giessen and Leipzig , where he studied law. He became a member of the Corps Starkenburgia (1875) and Saxonia Leipzig (1876). In 1879 he passed the faculty examination , was then a court accessist and from the autumn of 1882 a government assessor. In Heidelberg he did his doctorate in Dr. iur.

In 1886 he became a district magistrate, 1895 Governing Council and County Council in 1898 in the district of Lauterbach , which he remained until 1905th After that he was district administrator in the Groß-Gerau district until 1924 .

He was also vice-president of the agricultural association for the province of Upper Hesse, member of the Hessian agricultural council and deputy member of the German agricultural council . He was a bearer of the Knight's Cross First Class from the Grand Ducal Hessian Order of Merit .

As a Member of the National Liberal Party for the constituency of Grand Duchy of Hesse 3 - Lauterbach , district Alsfeld , district Scots - he sat from 1903 to 1907 in the German Reichstag.
