Karl Boekmann
Karl Boekmann (born March 9, 1826 in Heppenheim , † June 2, 1905 in Lugano ) was a German administrative lawyer , most recently provincial director and district councilor in Gießen .
Life
Starting in the summer semester of 1844, Boekmann studied law in Giessen and Heidelberg and obtained his doctorate in law. jur. In 1862 he became district councilor in Groß-Gerau , in 1877 provincial director of the province of Upper Hesse and district councilor of the district of Gießen in Gießen. In 1888 he retired.
