Wilhelm Seipp

Wilhelm Seipp (born September 3, 1906 in Lollar ; † October 11, 1963 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

After elementary school, Seipp completed an apprenticeship as a craftsman and trained as a civil engineer. Then worked as an engineer in the construction industry.

In 1923 he joined the SPD and did volunteer work in the party and local government until 1933. After the war, he took up this activity again and was district administrator in Gießen (1946–1948) and Groß-Gerau (1948–1954). From 1954 until his death he was district administrator of the Groß-Gerau district. Seipp was elected to the Hessian state parliament in 1958 . He was re-elected in 1962 , although he died in the first year of the legislature. He is a member of the State Parliament's Committee on Economics and Transport and the Committee on Agriculture and Forests.

In 1959 Seipp was a member of the 3rd Federal Assembly .
