Enno Siehr

Enno Siehr (born July 15, 1947 in Hochheim am Main ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 1992 to 2010 he was district administrator for the Groß-Gerau district .

Life

After attending the Immanuel Kant School in Rüsselsheim , Siehr studied Protestant theology , philosophy and education in Frankfurt am Main , Neuendettelsau , Tübingen and Mainz from 1967 to 1973 . From 1974 to 1977 he worked as a teacher at the IGS Kelsterbach . He then worked until 1988 as a district youth nurse and head of the youth care / youth education department of the Groß-Gerau district.

politics

At the age of 22, Siehr became a member of the SPD. Since 1977 he was a member of the Ginsheim-Gustavsburg municipal council . From 1988 to 1992 he was the mayor there and representative of the community in various organizations, boards and supervisory boards. In 1992 he was elected district administrator of the Groß-Gerau district. In 1998 and 2004 he was confirmed in this office. As a district administrator, Siehr was, among other things, a member of the board of directors of Riedwerke and chairman of the administrative board of the Kreissparkasse Groß-Gerau. On June 1, 2010, he retired. His successor was Thomas Will (SPD).
