Jean Christoph Harth

Jean Christoph Harth (born January 27, 1882 in Jugenheim , † November 10, 1956 in Rüsselsheim ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse and the Hessian Landtag .

education and profession

After elementary school and advanced training, Harth did an apprenticeship as a metal grinder. From 1902 to 1904 he did his military service. He was a participant in the First World War .

From 1918 to 1920 he was works council at Opel . From 1920 to 1922 he was secretary at the German Metalworkers' Association in Mainz, then district secretary of the SPD until 1933. During the time of National Socialism he lived from odd jobs.

From 1945 he was head of the youth and welfare office in Groß-Gerau .

politics

Jean Christoph Harth had been a member of the SPD since 1900. From 1912 onwards he was active in the local council of Rüsselsheim .

From 1921 to 1933 Jean Christoph Harth was a member of the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse . After the war, on October 27, 1949, he stood for MPs Dr. Ludwig Bergstrasse joined the state parliament and remained there until the end of the first electoral term on November 30, 1950.

From October 1945 to 1950 he was district administrator in Groß-Gerau.
