Ernst Voges (politician)
Ernst Voges (born November 7, 1892 in Magdeburg , † May 14, 1966 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Ernst Voges attended elementary school and did an apprenticeship as a mechanical engineer . He then attended a technical trade school and studied general mechanical engineering from 1910. He was a soldier in the First World War . From 1918 Voges worked as a designer and later took over his father's business. In 1921 he joined the SPD.
After the Second World War , Voges was elected to the district council assembly in the Reinickendorf district in the Berlin election in 1950 . In the 1958 election he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, to which he belonged until 1963.
