Ernst Winter (politician, 1888)
Ernst Winter (born August 13, 1888 in Aerzen , † March 7, 1954 in Hanover ) was a German politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).
Life
Born in the early days of the German Empire in the small town of Aerzen, Ernst Winter first worked in the Ruhr area before moving to Hanover, where he joined the SPD and the trade union .
After the Second World War , Ernst Winter was Chairman of the Works Council at Hanomag . He helped ensure that the military authorities did not dismantle the Hanomag machines during the time of the British occupation zone .
The German Bundestag belonged winter since 9 November 1952, when he departed for the SPD federal chairman Kurt Schumacher was nachgewählt, until his death on. He represented the constituency of Hanover-South .
After his death, Ernst Winter was laid out in the Hanomag's Ernst Winter Hall, which was named after him .
