Ernst von Motz

Ernst Karl Adrian von Motz (born September 10, 1805 in Vollenborn , Kingdom of Westphalia ; † February 22, 1858 in Neustadt (Dosse) ) was a Prussian district administrator in the districts of Samter (1836-1838) and Kröben (1839-1848) of the Prussian Poznan Province . Motz then worked as police chief in the provincial capital of Poznan from 1848 to 1851.

His parents were the Prussian finance minister and district president Friedrich Christian Adolf von Motz (1775-1830) and Albertine von Hagen (1779-1852). Since 1826 he was a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn .

He married Emma Viktoria von Frankenberg and Proschlitz on September 29, 1840 (* March 17, 1816, † August 28, 1868). The couple are waiting for several children:

  • Christian (born September 26, 1841; † September 13, 1889), royal prussia. Rittmeister ∞ Lucie Ertel (born July 7, 1850)
  • Ernst (born May 4, 1845), royal prussia. Major ∞ Anna von Frankenberg and Proschlitz (born March 31, 1850)
