Erta ( Norwegian for pea ) is a 1040 m high nunatak in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . In the mountains of Sør Rondane it rises between the Austhamaren and the Bulken in the northern part of the Bulkisen .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1973.
