Erwin Belakowitsch

Erwin Belakowitsch (* 1976 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian opera, operetta and concert singer ( lyrical baritone ).

Life

Erwin Belakowitsch was a soloist with the Vienna Boys' Choir . At the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna , he studied singing with Ralf Döring and oratorio and lied with Robert Holl . He also took master classes with Brigitte Fassbaender .

At the age of 22 Erwin Belakowitsch made his debut as Papageno ( Die Zauberflöte ) at the Lower Austrian State Theater. His career led him a. a. to the Vienna Chamber Opera , the Stadttheater Baden bei Wien , the Schönbrunn Palace Theater , the Haindorf Palace Festival and the Wiener Künstlerhaus . Erwin Belakowitsch made guest tours to Korea, Russia, South America, Poland and Japan.

From 2002 to 2006 Erwin Belakowitsch was a member of the ensemble at the Ulmer Theater . He made his debut as Figaro ( Il barbiere di Siviglia ). Other roles: Dandini ( La Cenerentola ), Ubaldo ( Armide ), Guglielmo ( Così fan tutte ), Don Giovanni ( Don Giovanni ), Silvio ( Pagliacci ), Orpheus ( Orpheus in the underworld ) and others. a.

From 2006 to 2010 Erwin Belakowitsch was engaged at the Meininger Theater . Games : Danilo ( The Merry Widow ), Sandor di Luzzano ( Mona Lisa ), Freddy ( My fair Lady ), Josef ( Wiener Blut ), Marcello ( La Bohème ), Kilian ( Der Freischütz ), Marius ( Les Misérables ), Belcore ( L'elisir d'amore ), Ein Cappadozier ( Salome ), Fleville ( Andrea Chénier ), Mamma Agata ( Viva la Mamma ), Tony ( West Side Story ) u. a.

He has appeared in more than sixty roles in operas, operettas, musicals and drama at the state theaters Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich, Schwerin and Kassel, at the theaters in Regensburg, Münster, Lucerne, Gießen, Magdeburg, at the Tyrolean State Theater, at the Vorarlberger State Theater and the United Theaters in Bozen , the Stadttheater Klagenfurt, the Schauspielhaus Wien, the Bregenz Festival and the Mörbisch Seefestspiele.
