Erwin Belakowitsch (* 1976 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian opera, operetta and concert singer ( lyrical baritone ).

Life

Erwin Belakowitsch was a soloist with the Vienna Boys' Choir . At the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna , he studied singing with Ralf Döring and oratorio and lied with Robert Holl . He also took master classes with Brigitte Fassbaender .

At the age of 22 Erwin Belakowitsch made his debut as Papageno ( Die Zauberflöte ) at the Lower Austrian State Theater. His career led him a. a. to the Vienna Chamber Opera , the Stadttheater Baden bei Wien , the Schönbrunn Palace Theater , the Haindorf Palace Festival and the Wiener Künstlerhaus . Erwin Belakowitsch made guest tours to Korea, Russia, South America, Poland and Japan.

From 2002 to 2006 Erwin Belakowitsch was a member of the ensemble at the Ulmer Theater . He made his debut as Figaro ( Il barbiere di Siviglia ). Other roles: Dandini ( La Cenerentola ), Ubaldo ( Armide ), Guglielmo ( Così fan tutte ), Don Giovanni ( Don Giovanni ), Silvio ( Pagliacci ), Orpheus ( Orpheus in the underworld ) and others. a.

From 2006 to 2010 Erwin Belakowitsch was engaged at the Meininger Theater .
