The Archbishop's Vocational College Neuss is a Catholic school on the Lower Rhine run by the Archdiocese of Cologne . It was created in 2006 through the amalgamation of two traditional, previously independent schools: the vocational college in Marienhaus with a focus on social and health care and the commercially oriented vocational college in Marienberg , both of which are located in the inner city of Neuss . Even after the unification, both departments remained at their previous locations with the usual focuses and characteristics.

In April 2011, this vocational college was the first school in the Archdiocese of Cologne to be certified as a European school .
