Esaia's heathen empire
Esaias Heidenreich (born April 10, 1532 in Löwenberg , Duchy of Schweidnitz-Jauer , † April 26, 1589 in Breslau ) was a German Lutheran theologian.
Life
Esaias Heidenreich, Latinized Hedericus , was the eldest son of the priest Lorenz Heidenreich (1480–1557) , who converted to the Reformation in 1519 . After attending schools in Löwenberg and Zittau , he began his theological studies at the University of Frankfurt (Oder) in 1548 , where he held lectures as a master's degree for several years. In 1556 Heidenreich became Primarius in Schweidnitz . In 1568 he became pastor at St. Elisabeth in Breslau and professor of theology at the grammar school of the same name . He held these offices for 21 years.
