Esala Teleni

Esala Teleni (* in Namuka-i-Lau , Fiji ) is a Fijian rugby player, diplomat, police officer and officer.

Career

Teleni attended Marist Brothers High School, like many Amree students. He later studied international law and received a master's degree in strategic studies.

Teleni was an officer in the Fijian Navy from 1975. From 1982 to 1989 he played rugby , was captain of the national team and later also coach.

On December 5, 2006, there was a military coup in Fiji. Teleni, who was already the duty commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) in November 2006 with the rank of captain , has now officially become deputy commander. Private

Teleni is a Methodist and lay preacher. During his time as police chief, he preached regularly in police shelters.
