Esenpınar is a former municipality in the district of Erdemli of the Turkish province of Mersin . Since a regional reform in 2014, the place has been part of the district town of Erdemli. Esenpınar is located in the west of the district, about twelve kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea, on the road that leads from Limonlu at the mouth of the river of the same name in a westerly direction to Seydili and Uzuncaburç .

An earlier name of the place was Güvere.

Various ruins are worth seeing in the area. About 5 kilometers east of Öküzlü , 2.5 kilometers south of Hacıömerli and at Sömek in the west, just as far away, the rock reliefs of a warrior and Athena .
