Eslam Ahmed Taha (born July 23, 1994 ) is a former Egyptian hammer thrower .
Athletic career
Eslam Ahmed Taha gained his first international experience at the 2010 Arab Junior Championships in Cairo , where he won the silver medal with a 6 kg hammer with a width of 65.30 m. He then took part in the first ever Youth Olympic Games in Singapore , where he finished sixth in the A final with 63.75 m. The following year he won the Junior African Championships in Gaborone with a throw of 68.03 m and was then fourth at the World Youth Championships near Lille with 72.35 m. In 2012 he was eliminated from the qualification at the Junior World Championships in Barcelona with 68.80 m and successfully defended his title at the Junior African Championships in Réduit with 74.49 m. In 2016 he won the bronze medal at the U23 Mediterranean Championships in Tunis with 70.33 m and then won the African Championships in Durban with a width of 68.92 m. In 2017 he competed in his last competition so far in Cairo.
In 2016 Taha became Egyptian hammer throw champion.
