The Estádio Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas ( German Stadion Kommandant Joaquim de Almeida Freitas ) is a football stadium in the Portuguese municipality of Moreira de Cónegos in the northern district of Braga . The 6,151-seat sports facility is home to the Moreirense FC football club and was inaugurated on October 20, 2002. The club also has its headquarters in the stadium. The construction of the current venue was necessary after two ascents in the early 2000s. It also received a floodlight system .
The stadium, which is held in white and light gray , has, in addition to the main and opposite stands, an uncovered standing crossbar behind the gate in the northeast. On the southwest side, a small soccer field has been created across the field. There is a training ground behind the back straight. The two longitudinal stands are covered. In contrast to the opposite stand, the main stand is equipped with plastic seats and small VIP boxes . The standing areas are not secured with breakwaters .
