Estelle Nze Minko (born August 11, 1991 in Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire , France ) is a French handball player who belongs to the squad of the French national team.

Career

Estelle Nze Minko grew up in Saint-Julien-de-Concelles , where she started playing handball at the age of 12. Later the back court player Nantes Loire Atlantique handball joined. After Nze Minko ran up for the French first division club Toulouse Féminin Handball in the 2009/10 season, she joined Mios-Biganos bassin d'Arcachon handball . With Mios-Biganos she won the EHF Challenge Cup in 2011 .

Estelle Nze Minko was under contract with Handball Cercle Nîmes in the 2012/13 season . She then returned to Nantes Loire Atlantique Handball. In the 2015/16 season, Nze Minko was under contract with CJF Fleury Loiret Handball , with whom she won the French League Cup. From summer 2016 she ran for the Hungarian first division side Siófok KC . With Siófok she won the EHF Cup in 2019 . In the summer of 2019 she moved to the league competitor Győri ETO KC .

Nze Minko ran for the French youth and junior national team. With these select teams, she took part in the U-18 World Cup in 2008 and in the U-20 World Cup in 2010 . On October 24, 2013 she made her debut for the French national team. Her first tournament participation was the 2014 European Championship . A year later, Nze Minko took part with France in the World Cup, during which she was able to score a total of 24 goals.

In 2016 Nze Minko played for France at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and at the 2016 European Championships in Sweden . She won the silver medal at the Olympic Games and the bronze medal at the European Championships. A year later she won the World Cup in Germany . At the European Championships in 2018 , she won the gold medal in her own country. With 38 hits, Nze Minko took fifth place in the top scorer list.
