She worked as a dancer at the Theater am Goetheplatz in Bremen for two years before studying graphic design with a focus on photography at the University of the Arts Bremen until 1993 . In addition to their creative parents, they were particularly influenced by dance and stage experience.

Haase now lives with her two children in Hamburg and temporarily in London.

job

Haase has been working internationally as a freelance photographer since 1993. During your studies, she worked as a trainee in the Art Department of the men Vogue ( Men's Vogue active) in Munich, assisted with various photographers and accompanied productions of your father. The French consumer electronics company Thomson entrusted her with her first own photo production in Paris. In 1998 she traveled to Cuba for Wolfgang Behnken, Stern's art director on behalf of Stern . The photos taken there not only opened the way for Haase to many magazines, but also attracted the attention of various photo galleries. With further trips to Cuba and because of the tango to Argentina, she expanded her photographic oeuvre. This was followed by exhibitions in various galleries a. a. 2005 and 2009 at Camera Work in Hamburg and Berlin. Since then she has been represented by Camera Work .

Haase's work focuses on productions for renowned fashion magazines such as the Italian editions of Vanity Fair and Grazia , the French magazine Madame Figaro , the German Elle or Vogue India , but also for national and international fashion brands such as Victoria's Secret and Guess and Wonderbra . Her work is characterized by glamor, joie de vivre, eroticism and wit. Fellini , Helmut Newton and Peter Lindbergh are among her role models. She is increasingly devoting herself to film productions. We do it again , one of her last films as well as a series of pictures of baroque stagings, were purchased by the Paula Modersohn-Becker Museum in Bremen in 2013 .

Again and again it is film TV or stage stars that Haase portrays. She has been accompanying Hannelore Elsner , Iris Berben , Gudrun Landgrebe and Nena for many years . She portrayed Diane Kruger , FC Gundlach , Vivienne Westwood , opera diva Anna Netrebko , Katarina Witt and Angela Merkel , among others . In one of Hildegard Knef's last series of pictures , she showed her empathetic approach to old age.

The topic of age becomes visible in the productions for the annual calendar of the Berlin care service Jahnke. Like a social project, the elderly act together with film and stage stars in role-playing games. Vivienne Westwood made a costume contribution with students in her Berlin fashion class. The work met with a great response in the media. The TV show 37 ° dedicated a contribution to the project, in 2002 works received the Gold award from the Art Directors Club (ADC) Germany, in 2008 they were selected for a Photokina presentation. In 2010 the book Rock'n'Old was published . Another socially committed project: The Uta Melle Project Amazons , a controversial topic about breast amputee women.
