Ether -

Ether is the first EP of the US Metal - guitarist Mark Morton . The album was released on January 17, 2020 via Rise Records .

Emergence

After the release of his first solo album Anesthetic in March 2019, Mark Morton played a small tour with his band. Some songs were also played in acoustic versions , including at the download festival . Inspired by these performances, Morton wrote a few songs that “reflect this gentle mood”. As with Anesthetic , Mark Morton worked with different singers. The EP features Lzzy Hale ( Halestorm ), Howard Jones ( Light the Torch ), John Carbone ( Moon Tooth ) and Mark Morales ( Sons of Texas ) on two tracks .

The EP contains three original compositions and two cover versions , with The Black Crowes and Pearl Jam being chosen . The EP was produced and mixed by Josh Wilbur. For the songs All I Had to Lose and Black were music videos released.
