"Lzzy" Hale - civil: Elizabeth Mae Hale (born October 10, 1983 in Red Lion , Pennsylvania ) is an American singer and guitarist . She plays in the band Halestorm and has appeared several times as a guest singer.

Career

Hale learned from the age of five the piano and later rose to the well-known also under the name Keytar remote keyboard to. At the age of 13 she founded the band Halestorm with her three years younger brother Arejay. In the early days, their father played bass. At 16 she took guitar lessons. With Halestorm, Hale released four studio albums. In 2013 Halestorm won a Grammy for Best Hard Rock / Metal Performance for the song Love Bites (So Do I) .

In addition to Halestorm, Hale appeared several times as a guest singer for other bands. In 2010 she can be heard on a new recording of the song Breaking Inside by the band Shinedown . A year later she recorded the songs Such a Shame and Won't Let Go with Black Stone Cherry . In 2012 she sang the song Come Undone with Russell Allen for the band Adrenaline Mob . A year later followed a duet with David Draiman on the song Close My Eyes Forever for Draiman's band Device .

In 2013 Lzzy Hale founded the fashion label Scissor Happy .
