Ettmarshausen is a part of the Immelborn district of the Barchfeld-Immelborn community in the Wartburg district in Thuringia .

Ettmarshausen is located on the left high bank of the Werra , about 800 m northwest of Immelborn . The federal road 62 from Bad Salzungen to Barchfeld leads through the district. The geographic height of the place is 243 m above sea level. NN .
history
Ettmarshausen was first mentioned in 1330 in the so-called Frankenstein sales letter as Hetmershusen , so it was a slave settlement of the neighboring Frankenstein Castle . The settlement passed into the hands of the Hennebergs when it was sold , and is mentioned in 1426 as Ottmarshausen .
In 2012, 60 residents lived in the district.
Road traffic
A section of the B 62 runs through the location . With the completion of the planned Werratal bridge of the B 62 west of Ettmarshausen , the through traffic will in future be relieved of through traffic.
