The Eubigheimer Tunnel is a railway tunnel of the Frankenbahn near Eubigheim in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg . The length of the tunnel is 272 meters. As part of the "Badische Odenwaldbahn" entity, it is a listed building .

location

The railway tunnel runs through the Gewann Seewald am Grohberg. After the Southwest Portal ( position ) the route leading towards Eubigheim and after the Northeast portal ( position ) in the direction Boxberg-Wölchingen.

The south-west portal is located in the Ahorn-Eubigheim district and the north-east portal in the Boxberg - Uiffingen district .

history

Immediately after the Eubigheim tunnel in the Seewald in the direction of the Eubigheim train station there was once the Seewiese locomotive sweeping station .
