Eugène Tremblay

Eugène Tremblay (born February 20, 1936 in Saint-Hilarion ) is former bishop of Amos .

Life

Eugène Tremblay was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Québec on June 24, 1962 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Québec and titular bishop of Succuba on November 3, 1994 .

The Archbishop of Québec, Maurice Couture RSV , donated him episcopal ordination on January 6 of the next year ; Co -consecrators were the auxiliary bishops Jean-Paul Labrie and Marc Leclerc from Québec.

On May 3, 2004, he was appointed Bishop of Amos . On February 22, 2011, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related resignation.
