Eugene Simon

Eugen Simon (* 1880 in Watzum , Samland ; † 1941 in Königsberg (Prussia) ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Simon studied law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . In 1899 he was in the Corps Hasso Borussia Freiburg recipiert . After the exams he joined the internal administration of Prussia. As a Councilor he worked for the government in Gumbinnen . On February 18, 1919, he was appointed provisionally , and on September 19, 1919, he was finally appointed as district administrator in the Gumbinnen district . A year later, on September 22, 1920, he was suspended like most district administrators in East Prussia after the Kapp Putsch .
