Goals and Topics

Since its inception on September 25, 1994, ECSO has endeavored to coordinate European organizations and individuals who critically examine pseudoscientific statements and allegations regarding the observation of paranormal phenomena in order to make the results available to the public. The association intends to continue the skeptics conferences in Europe that preceded its foundation. It also supports specialist conferences and biennial congresses every two years.
