Eva-Maria Himmelbauer (born December 24, 1986 in Horn ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and has been a member of the Austrian National Council since 2012 .

Eva-Maria Himmelbauer was born on December 24, 1986 in the Lower Austrian town of Horn and grew up in Pulkau in the Hollabrunn district . After attending primary and secondary school in Pulkau, Himmelbauer graduated from the technical college in Hollabrunn in the industrial engineering branch in 2006 . During her school days at the HTL Hollabrunn, she took part in a one-year exchange program with Oakburn College Launceston in the Australian state of Tasmania in 2004 and 2005 .

Following her school education, Eva-Maria Himmelbauer studied business informatics at the Technical University of Vienna from 2006 to 2011 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree . As part of her bachelor's degree, she spent a semester abroad in 2010 at Linné University in the Swedish city ​​of Växjö . Eva-Maria Himmelbauer has been studying business informatics at the Vienna University of Technology since 2011. Political career

In 2007 Himmelbauer entered politics and became a member of the Junge Wirtschaft in Hollabrunn. Since 2008 she has been the deputy district chairman of the Young People's Party in the Hollabrunn district, and since 2010 the regional chairwoman of the JVP Lower Austria. In addition, she has been chairwoman of the Junge Wirtschaft in Hollabrunn since 2011.
