Eva Lang

Eva Lang (born January 10, 1947 in Stuttgart ) is a German economist . Until her retirement, she was a professor at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich for economic policy with a special focus on political economy .

Life

Lang studied economics and political science and completed her doctorate and habilitation on topics in infrastructure , business theory and finance . After an assistant position at the University of Würzburg , she was appointed professor at the West Coast University of Applied Sciences in Heide . Since 1996 she has been a professor at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich. She is a founding member and since 2014 chairwoman of the board of the Association for Ecological Economy . She is also on the board of trustees of the Munich Community Foundation .

Her academic focus is on ecological economics , sustainable social and financial policy , preventive economic activity and the eco-social modernization of the state economy.
