Eva Head

Eva Leiter (born September 4, 1922 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress and dancer .

Life

Eva Leiter trained in ballet and piano. She was seen for the first time at the Vienna State Opera on New Year's Eve 1937 as "Pikkolo" in der Fledermaus . Until 1944 she was used as a dancer in over 90 state opera performances. First, Leiter married the actor Siegfried Breuer .

Together with Fred Kraus , Gunther Philipp and Peter Wehle , she founded the cabaret group Die kleine Vier in 1948 . After appearing on Bayerischer Rundfunk in 1949, the Little Four went on a tour through West Germany . Eva Leiter also took on supporting roles in four feature films that were released in 1950 and 1951. After separating from Siegfried Breuer, she married the film producer Herbert Gruber in 1952 and withdrew from the acting profession.
