Eva Petters (born November 16, 1971 in Vienna ) is an Austrian ballet dancer .

Life

Her parents are the actor Heinz Petters and his wife Meieli, a Swiss ballet dancer.

She received her training at the ballet school of the Austrian Federal Theater and as a Nureyev scholarship holder in Paris . She was taught by Marika Besobrasova and Attilio Labis . Edeltraud Brexner was also one of her predecessors at the State Opera Ballet and accompanied Eva Petters as a trainer throughout her career.

In 1987 she became a member of the Vienna State Opera Ballet , in 1993 a semi-soloist, in 1996 a solo dancer and in 2000 she became the first solo dancer, prima ballerina so to speak . She owes this career not only to her dedication and talent, in particular her ability to convey moods in expressive dance has earned her a crowd of fans. She works with well-known dancers such as Vladimir Malachow , who values ​​her as a partner.
