Eva von Angern (born December 1, 1976 in Magdeburg ) is a German lawyer and politician ( Die Linke ). She has been a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt since 2002 and has been the deputy chairwoman of the left parliamentary group there since 2014 .

Education and profession

From 1983 to 1991 Eva von Angern attended the Polytechnic Oberschule Dr. Richard Sorge in Magdeburg and made in 1995 at the Wilhelm-Raabe her -Gymnasium High School . She was a service employee at CinemaxX Magdeburg. Von Angern completed his law studies at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg in 2001 with the first exam . At the end of her legal traineeship at the Naumburg Higher Regional Court , she passed the second state examination in 2005 . She has been working as a lawyer in Magdeburg since 2006.

politics

In 1996 von Angern joined the Democratic Socialist Party (PDS) and was deputy chairwoman from 1998 to 2002 and chairwoman of the PDS / Die Linke-Stadtverband Magdeburg from 2002 to 2011. Since 1999 she has been a member of the socialist working group of women in the party Die Linke (LISA) and since 2013 she has been chairwoman of the arbitration commission of the party's regional association. For the Linkspartei.PDS she entered the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt in April 2002 ( 4th electoral period ). She was re-elected in the state elections in 2006 , 2011 and 2016 .

Von Angern is deputy chairwoman of the Committee on Law, Constitution and Equal Opportunities, the Election Review Committee and the Parliamentary Control Commission, and a full member of the 19th Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry and the Enquete Commission on Strengthening Democracy.

Memberships

From 2001 to 2011 von Angern was an assessor in the Landesfrauenrat Sachsen-Anhalt e. V. and has been its chairman since 2011. Since 2006 has been a member of the German Child Protection Association of Saxony-Anhalt e. V. and was an assessor on its board from 2006 to 2011. Since 1998 she has also been a member of the “Bündnis gegen Rechts” Magdeburg, and since 2000 of the Children's Funding Association. V., since 2005 in the development association of the Hegel-Gymnasium Magdeburg , since 2012 in the German Association for Juvenile Courts and Juvenile Court Aids e. V. and since 2014 in the regional advisory board of Nord LB , Magdeburg.

Private

Eva von Angern is non-denominational, married and has three children. She chose her maiden name as a married name and belongs to the former noble family von Angern . Her mother was a history teacher and her father was a policeman .
