The Evangelical Church of Willmars is a village church in the Lower Franconian district of Rhön-Grabfeld . The church is one of the architectural monuments of Willmars and is registered under the number D-6-73-182-1 in the Bavarian list of monuments. Willmars is part of the parish Willmars-Filke in the deanery Bad Neustadt an der Saale .

history

The substructure of the church tower is Romanesque . The nave was built in 1705.

description

The church tower stands as a choir tower in the east. It has an octagonal upper floor and a Welsche hood with a lantern . In contrast to the choir, the nave with a gable roof has pointed arched windows.

Furnishing

The pulpit was made around 1670. The font dates from 1592. The gallery in the nave is on the western and northern walls. The organ is placed on the western wall.
