The Evangelical Reformed Johanniskirche Wiblingwerde is a listed church building in Nachrodt-Wiblingwerde , a municipality in the Märkisches Kreis ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

The small, two-bay hall church stands on an almost square floor plan. The choir with apse is rectangular, the west tower is square. The building dates from the middle of the 13th century. It was first mentioned in 1316 in the Liber valoris (interest book of the Archdiocese of Cologne). The spatial image is squat like a chapel . Heavy round pillars support the dome-like groin vaults in the choir and central nave . The side aisles , which end in small wall apses, are vaulted with ridge vaults. The extension of the side aisles and the connecting opening to the adjoining tower hall date from the 20th century. During renovations in 1914, wall and ceiling paintings in the apse were exposed. Because of the poor condition of the plaster, they were not restored but repainted. Unusual (especially for Westphalian churches) is the synoptic symbolic representation of the two cities of Rome and Constantinople (see Fig.) In the community, this gave rise to speculation that this fresco may therefore be at the time of the fourth crusade (1202-1204) and the establishment of the Latin Empire and Latin Patriarchs (1204 to 1261), which was carried out here in connection, could have arisen when the Oriental Schism of 1054 temporarily became obsolete because during this period Constantinople was again associated with the entirety of the Roman Catholic faith .

In 1968, possibly even from the church from the period before the establishment came Frankish times coming baptismal font , which since the Reformation in Herlsen (part of Wiblingwerde) as a horse trough served back into the Church.
